One of the must-see sites of Yuma, Arizona is the Yuma Territorial Prison. If you have seen the recent movie 3:10 TO YUMA or have ever read a western, then you are aware of the history of this prison. It is a rather interesting stop (although hard to find as it is located behind a railroad track and bridge) and a reminder of the past. I personally found the prison cemetery the highlight of the stop. Overlooking the river, the cemetery graves are piled rocks. A marker in the cemetery identifies all those buried there.
Another site to see in Arizona is, of course, London Bridge at Lake Havasu. In season, this area really is rather congested, but well worth the stop. This area is conjested in the winter time as many seasonal head to Lake Havasu, Quartzsite, Blythe and Yuma for the season.

- Outside Parker, Arizona
After driving through what seems an endless desert… you find yourself near Parker, Arizona to a beautiful sea of blue and green. The contrast from the surrounding landscape is amazing and it is surprising to see boats and signs for marinas.

These are just a few places we’ve visited in Arizona – there are plenty of great places to visit! From Meteor Crater to the Grand Canyon to Phoenix – Arizona has a lot to offer.
