If you find yourself in Foley and you like trains, be sure to visit the Foley Railroad Museum downtown. The museum is actually located at the old L&N railroad depot. It has a small, but nice collection of items from the area. There is also a building devoted to model trains, unfortunately the building was closed on the day of our visit. Outside they have several rail cars, including a caboose and engine. Admission to the museum is free. Parking is limited to just tow vehicles, unless you can find a space for your Big Rig over by the local park.

For hours and model train schedule, visit their site at: http://www.foleyrailroadmuseum.com/index.cfm
