Although there are 500+ miles of US 395, when we last ventured down this historic, scenic highway, we only went from Reno to Death Valley. We encountered a variety of weather from one morning of frozen water hoses to almost 100 degrees at our last stop (Death Valley NP). Our trip even started out in a delay as a snow storm and high wind advisories, prevented high-profile vehicles from traveling.
It is also the longest we’ve driven without seeing another RV! And that reminds me… also the most expensive fuel we’ve ever had. Aha! That might be why no RVers were on the road. Silly us! 😉
