Redwood National and State Parks is an amazing drive along the northern California coast. The only thing is we had some issues with parking our truck (we had left the fifth-wheel at a campground while we toured the area that week) at some of the park’s pull-off areas. I recommend stopping at the visitor’s center in Crescent City for maps of the various park areas.
If you do go hiking, make sure your day back is stocked with plenty of water and a light jacket or windbreaker. And, of course, don’t forget the camera and compass! 🙂
