If you have some “small fries” of your own, the Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery is a great place to visit. You can take a self-guided tour (guided tours are reserved for summer months) of the facility and children can feed the fish for a quarter (or two, or three!). The fish hatchery has all phases – from egg incubation to release. It is the largest trout production facility in Missouri. And admission is free!
