While visiting Kings Ranch and the John E. Conner Museum in Kingsville, we thought we would stop in to see the 1904 Train Depot Museum. Although we went during open hours, the doors were locked so we weren’t able to go inside the historic depot. Across from the depot is the bandstand. In the early 1900s the town hosted free concerts each week. The bandstand has since been completely restored. If you plan to visit the museum, I would suggest calling ahead since their posted hours are apparently wrong. The museum is free and easy to find in downtown Kingsville.
