If you find yourself along I-35 in Hill Country (Texas), make sure you stop and visit the town of New Braunfels. Downtown you’ll find the New Braunfels Railroad Museum right along the tracks!
Although the museum is small, it has a nice collection of artifacts, photographs and equipment representing the history of the rail road. Admission to the museum is free.
Parking can be found beside the museum or along the street. While you are there, you may want to check out some of the antique shoppes and historic buildings in the downtown area.
