A drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway during the “peak” of Leaf Season revealed a faded landscape. Not many stunning colors. If you drive it, remember Virginia overuses the term “scenic overlook”. Most of the time it is just a parking lot overlooking a wooded area. So try to look ahead before you bend your rig in there. And there were several RVs on the road… surprisingly, all headed South! 😉

And don’t you just love the lack of shoulders on the roads? We pulled our 5th wheel up and down Skyline Drive & BR Pkwy – plenty of places where the pucker factor rated extreme!
